Bahamas-Airlines Flying to the Bahamas

Bahamas-Airlines flying to Nassau, Freeport and the Family Islands are plentiful and range from gigantic jumbo jets to small 6 seat commuter planes. My family and I have flown in almost every kind of plane imaginable over the years going to our house on Abaco. We once flew in a world war two vintage DC 3! My son Cody who was very small at the time and thought that it was the coolest plane he had ever seen. Getting to your makeshift seat was a challenge as the aisle was so steep that you had to climb up instead of walk!

This is the way to fly if you just happen to own your own seaplane. I took this picture of a seaplane taking off from Little Harbour, Abaco belonging to the Miami Dolphins. They had landed about an hour before, had lunch and drinks at Pete's Pub, and then loaded up and took off. Ahh the good life!

Buying an Bahamas-airlines flight ticket can be frustrating these days as prices seem to change by the day and sometimes by the hour. Here are some websites that scan many different companies at the same time and give you results list by lowest to highest. Some can also check prices 2 or 3 days either side of your requested date for a cheaper flight if your travel dates are flexible.

These web site charge a fee for booking through them so it is also a good idea to check the web site of the company with the cheapest flight directly to find out if you can save the booking fee.
